Inspiration treat: in-your-face quotes by F. Scott Fitzgerald

January 4, 2014 | Vintage lifestyle | 0 comments

We’re still in the spicy food for thought mood. So here is another (mid)night inspiration treat. I love original in-your-face quotes. Today it’s time to bring you some of the most inspirational and lovely in-your-face quotes of writer F. Scott Fitzgerald. His short novels have been the base of several movies like The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and of course: The Great Gatsby, (I wrote a review of the last Great Gatsby movie).
But, since it’s inspirational quote time, let’s hear it for the masterpieces of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s short stories. When you read them you’ll realise something. One way or another they can still be applied in your life today and in the lives of others 100 years of today.

Today’s special: Spicy quote soup

December 3, 2013 | Inspirational column | 0 comments

Today on the menu: Some homemade spicy quote soup to spice up your day or night.

A chance doesn’t always ring twice. An outspoken “NO” can be a hidden “YES” for something better.Close doors for those who aren’t worth it, open windows for those who make an effort.
About those thousands of people you’ll meet in your life: the ones who seduce your heart and mind are for keeps.

Keep that inner sparkle alive and kicking, even around those who like it dull. You never know when one might see the light.

When the heart starts to wander into the unknown, don’t forget to take the brains with you.
