The Classic Hollywood face swap files

It all started with couch potato activities last Tuesday when I came home after a nice dinner. Yes, couch potato activities can be very good for your creativity. Since I use Snapchat only for the filters, I decided to check if there were some new filters added that day. After chuckling about a hilarious filter, I decided to try out the “face swap with another picture” option. It’s actually a filter that I always skip. But not anymore. I finally understand the “hype” of this filter.

You know those days when you feel like watching a good old serie that you already watched a hundred times? Well, last week I had one of those days. I felt like watching Sex and the city again. There were two things that went through my head while I was watching. And one thought was new…

It’s all about the good and sincere friends.
Samantha cracks me up again. Brain flash. Hmm…she reminds me of… Mae West!

Ambitious with balls: I love Lucy

via Wikicommons
Yesterday, I had a little rendez-vous with the 1950s again. I watched an episode of the I love Lucy show and it was hilarious. The I love Lucy show is a sitcom of the 50s starring Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. The comedy serie is about Lucy Ricardo and her husband Ricky Ricardo. In every episode you can get a 25 minute peek in their marriage and (fictional) life. Thanks to our social media platform nowadays, that’s 25 minutes per episode – without ads. Thank you Youtube. Once again you make it possible to watch one (or two) season(s) in one night.

Happy tropical vintage spring!

via Film Star Vintage

We’re still in the celebration mood. Friday was the yearly Holi spring celebration where Hindus (and anyone else who likes to join) celebrate the arrival of spring. Yesterday spring was literally in the air and in my opinion a day that officially required sunglasses. So what do you do when you go outside? Take Forget your sunglasses. Oh well, today is another sunny day. The forecast of warm sunny days for the next six months makes me really cheerful. First of all, I am the kind of person who embraces hibernation in January and February. Especially when we have really cold winters. Secondly: I love those spring (and summer) retro looks. So keep that sun coming!
