Last week, I bumped into a dance video of that popular moonwalk. Not performed by Michael Jackson this time, but by Bill Bailey. If you follow my facebook page, you probably have seen this movie. It made me think about other popular dance styles or typical dance moves that ruled the dancefloor back in time. Here are a few popular ones that lasted from the 1920s until the 1960s including some movies that captured those lovely vintage dance styles!

Brace yourself. Halloween pictures will rule your social media timeline the coming week. And in this case you can blame me. However, you may just blame me for some good old vintage entertainment or for that cool, original Halloween look. October is ending, the nights are getting colder and everyone who celebrates Halloween is looking for some fabulous and scary Halloween outfits. If you’re looking for some inspiration, look back. To behave or not to behave: vintage etiquette

Fine…and you?
Sounds familiar? How many of your conversations started like this while using whatsapp, sms or messenger? Or should I say, how many conversations did not start like this? Probably a lot less. It’s a typical example of (social) etiquette these days. Another example is holding doors (no matter what gender). And these days it’s also important not to tinder around while you’re having a dinner date…
Ofcourse etiquette is not born yesterday. It’s something that has always been around and evolved through the years. Whether you obey the rules or not, or agree with them or not: it’s all about your behaviour towards other people. So one way or another you may be judged for your (lack of) manners.
