A few weeks ago, I was ready for season 6 of my favorite series on Netflix. Oh the deception, when I realized I had to wait at least 11 months for the last season, which was apparently not on Netflix. I was not ready for another series (yet), so I browsed to the movie section. Then I wondered: how many golden oldies would be available on Netflix? Well, surprisingly there were more than I thought!

A few days ago I had yet another Vintage meets Present moment. I actually have a lot of those. There was nothing interesting to watch on television – I also have a lot of those moments recently – so I decided it was dvd time: Classic Hollywood o’clock. Although watching dvd’s is also considered vintage these days. I was in the mood to watch a good old comedy that I hadn’t watched before, so I decided to watch the movie Monkey Business. So what kind of movie is it and more importantly: is the movie worth watching?

Now that autumn has arrived and winter is coming, you may want to increase your movie nights with blankets and some hot chocolate.
